The materials for Fall PSYC790/PSYCH650/POLS706 are available in the folders you should see below. The folders psyc650 pols706 and psyc790 point to the same place. The syllabus is same for all, lectures too. There will be only some minor differences among the assignments.

Where is Everything?

I keep all my lecture material under the general topical structure in and I think you should feel free to dig around in there. Inside, you see there are sub-sections, stat, Computing-HOWTO, Rcourse and so forth. Since almost all of the lectures are written with R Sweave, it means you can find the actual R code and actual figures that go into the pdfs of the presentations.

But Wait, that's too awesome!

Are you distracted by all of those interesting folders? Just want materials for this class? You could check the Syllabus, but why bother? The big lecture list is a one-stop shopping opportunity for people who can't find a Syllabus. It has a topical list of course sessions, along with links to the folders where that material is kept, and links to some particular pieces.

If you want the source code for the lectures, or the R code that creates plots or tables, feel free to look in the folders. All of that stuff isin there. Go look!

Are You Well Prepared?

If you think you might like to take the class, but are unsure if you are well prepared, I made a Checklist of topics with which we expect most social science graduate students will already be familiar. People who have had a course comparable to POLS306 or PSYC500 should be familiar with these items.
