This is a Java Applet showing a Freeplane "Mind Map" of my statistical guides and
lectures.
It mostly points to folders of related files, but he drawing is supposed to help you see how all of these things fit together.
The stat collection is one of the top level directories in my newly reorganized collection
of class offerings. The other main sections are
-
Computing-HOWTO. Free Software tools; Subversion, The "terminal" and how to use it, etc.
- C programming
- Java notes
- Rcourse: R programming material
File Type guide.
- *.tex: LaTeX document
- *.Rnw: R noweb file: a source code document from which I produces LaTeX and pdf
- *.pdf: Adobe PDF (portable document format)
- *.R: R source code, often derived from an Rnw file
- *.lyx: A LyX document processor file (often I use to generate Rnw files)
- *.eps: encapsulated postscript. A vector graphics file, Adobe's precursor to PDF
If you are inside the KU network, you are allowed to directly download a copy
of my Subversion archive where all of these documents live. Inside your working
copy, you can update regularly to see if I'm doing any work. But if you just
want to download a file here or there, you can either follow the links in the
mind map or you can travel the directory hierarchy below.
The mind map points to files that are nestled within the hierarchy below.
It is possible that I've forgotten to link something up in the mind map, in which
case you do just have to click away on the directories below.
