The lark system does not have all of the pleasant comforts of a good Unix system. I don't know why. They don't have Netscape installed there, last time I checked.

So you have to make do. If you are logged in with telnet, you can use the text WWW browser lynx, that was invented here at KU and is now world famous. Try it out by typing

lynx www.ukans.edu

Use the tab key to move the highlight to different options. This is not the most fun, but it is educational.
