In order to allow in samba connections, a firewall should allow ports 137-139, for both tcp and udp.

Redhat has this firewall creator lokkit and it has no easy button for samba, but in the customize part of the form, you can add those ports/protocols. I think you should type in

137:tcp 138:tcp 139:tcp 137:udp 138:udp 139:udp

Port 113:tcp for ident/sendmail smpt

Port 631:tcp and udp for CUPS availability
